DKD Logo Reliability emerges from esz AG calibration & metrology. esz AG calibration & metrology's initial accreditaion goes back to the year 1997, when German Accreditation Body (formerly known as DKD's Accreditation Body at the Physikalische Technische Bundesanstalt - PTB) recognized esz AG calibration & metrology as an accredited calibration laboratory under registration number DAkkS D-K-15019-01-00 (former accreditation number DKD-K-18201). Ever since esz AG is officially entitled to issue DAkkS-accredited DKD-calibration reports in compliance with DIN EN ISO/ IEC 17025. DKD is an association of calibration laboratories, industry, research institutes, technological authoritites, controlling and testing institutes under the patronage of Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), audited, monitored and accredited by DAkkS. DKD and their affiliated committees and laboratories form the expertise and tie industrial measuring to PTB's core responsibilty, i.e. to trace, control and pass measurement units down to authorities, industry and public within Germany.

esz AG performs accredited calibration for test and measurment equipment, test stations and test systems for all accredited fields and quantities. All DAkkS-/ DKD-calibration reports are a certification of traceability to national and international standards, as required and part of norms, guidelines and regulatory framework for instance DIN EN ISO 9001 or DIN EN ISO/ IEC 17025.
